Women need to know the signs of bladder cancer immediately for preventative measures. Bladder cancer is a disease that is rarely loaded in the media. Because of the invulnerability, it discusses the types of large cancers such as breast, ovary, prostate, lung and skin. 12% of cancer cases in the United States are breast cancer, lung cancer is 25%. 40-50% of cancer patients in the US are skin cancer. The rate of bladder cancer is only 5%.
Small tumors often do not cause symptoms. However, some typical signs and symptoms of bladder cancer are:
- Burning feeling when urinating
- The frequency of urinating more or less frequently
- Bloody urine
- The amount of urine released is small and halting
- Back pain
- If the tumor has become larger, other symptoms include abdominal pain and drastic weight loss for no apparent reason.
There may be signs and symptoms not mentioned above. If you have concerns about a particular symptom, consult your doctor.
The exact cause of this disease is not certain. However, experts argue that bladder cancer is a disease that develops when cells in the bladder begin to grow abnormally. Instead of growing and splitting normally, these cells actually develop mutations that cause cells to grow out of control.
In many cases, this cancer is often associated with exposure to chemicals and radiation, chronic irritation of the bladder, parasitic infections, and smoking.
