What Type of Joint is The Hip

In our bodies, bones that are interconnected with each other have various types of joints. The relationship between the bones is where some ends of the bone meet each other and this can cause movement or not. Relationships that occur between bones are also called articulations.

The relationship between bones is very possible for a movement to occur called joints. One of them is the joint at the hip. If seen based on whether or not a limb is moved, the relationship between bones can be categorized into three, namely, cirrhosis, amfiartrosis, and synartrosis.

Parts of the bone that have bullet joints will definitely be able to rotate in all directions. Bullet joints are a form of interconnection that occurs between two bones that allow the process of occurrence of movements in all directions freely (can be called free movement). One end of the bone has a shape like a ball and the other bone has a bowl-like shape.

In the bullet joint itself will connect the base of the upper arm bone (the end of which has a shape like a ball). An example of a bullet joint is the relationship that occurs between the part of the thigh bone and the hip bone and also the upper arm bone with the shoulder blades
