How Do Allergic Reactions Work

Allergy is the reaction of the immune system to something that is considered foreign, either dangerous or not. This can be a substance that enters or comes into contact with the body.

Allergens or allergic substances only in people who have allergies. In other people, these allergens will not react to the immune response. Some types of substances can cause reactions due to insect bites, animal dust, drugs, certain foods, and pollen.

When the body first encounters an allergen, the body produces antibodies because it considers it dangerous. This is what releases the release of chemicals in the body (histamine) and causes symptoms.

• Swelling occurs in parts of the body that run into allergens, such as the face, mouth and tongue.

The severity of the reaction also varies in each person, there is a mild backlash and some are severe to the fatal effect called anaphylaxis. If you need anaphylaxis, you need emergency medical treatment.
