Yale Health promotes the health and well-being of every member of the Yale community, so that each individual can achieve their highest goals and aspirations. Providing exceptionally consistent care, compassionate, patient-centered services and innovative practices is our promise to their members and Yale University.
Our sophisticated facility on 55 Lock Street, built in 2010, is where their members receive most of their care. This is a 144,000 square foot medical facility with more than 90 examination rooms; The 24/7 Acute Care Department which is managed by a registered doctor and nurse; 17 bed inpatient facilities with two negative pressure chambers; a diagnostic imaging suite including MRI, CT scan, x-ray, and ultrasound; and a full service retail pharmacy. It accommodates 150+ of their providers, including 111 main doctors and consultants.
Yale Health has been accredited by the Joint Commission since 2005 and is a proud recipient of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award from Connecticut for Innovation.
